We’re based in Grand Junction, Colorado, a small city at the confluence of the Gunnison and Colorado rivers. This city’s got charm! From the orchards and vineyards, to the thriving art community, to the vibrant outdoor scene, you’ll find something to love here.

This writing retreat is based in a historic home in the downtown area. Reserve one of five peaceful bedrooms during one of our scheduled four-day residencies. You’ll be served a home-cooked welcome brunch and farewell dinner, plus have access to a fully-equipped kitchen and outdoor grill.

The home has been beautifully updated in a manner that blends antique details with modern convenience. It is comfortably air conditioned and heated. Bathrooms are shared. There are several writing areas in the communal spaces, plus lap desks available for working cozied up on a bed or sofa.

Unfortunately, the home is not currently wheelchair accessible. Guests who have mobility challenges are encouraged to request the downstairs bedroom. Please note any food allergies or dietary needs in your intake form; the hosts have extensive experience with specialized diets and are happy to accommodate you.

Your local host will pick you up and drop you off at the local airport if needed, and can transport guests to grocery stores. An array of local shops, restaurants, and parks is within walking distance of the home.
